Express 60 (26 + 2)

This class is taught by:

Noah Alvarado

I achieved a significant milestone this summer by completing my original hot yoga 26+2 training. My journey with the 26+2 series began over 15 years ago, when my mom first opened our studio in the back of our house, long before we moved to our current location. Those early days and witnessing the studio's growth ignited my passion for yoga and shaped my approach to teaching and management.

As the new manager, my goal is to ensure that our studio remains a sanctuary where everyone can find peace, strength, and community. I look forward to meeting each of you, sharing our love for yoga, and growing together on this beautiful path.

Namaste,
Noah Alvarado

I started yoga shortly after I had my second child in hopes of getting back into shape. I quickly realized that yoga was going to be much more than a workout for me. I fell in love with learning about different styles of yoga, trying anything I could. I decided not long after to get my 500hr YTT certification. The knowledge I gained and crave every day through yoga is a gift, and I am here to share it with the world. I will forever be a student, and I am humbled to be where I am today. I fell in love with Bikram yoga and the way it made me feel mentally and physically. I can truly find my pratyahara(withdrawal of senses) in class, as well as my dharana(concentration).

My yoga journey started back in 2007 when I took my first Bikram class. I was hooked immediately. I knew this yoga was for life! The benefits I have received from practicing the 26&2 series are many. I am physically and mentally stronger, and I have developed better focus and patience inside and outside of the room. My love and passion for this yoga led me to attend an OHYA certified teacher training at Bikram Yoga North Texas in Fall 2021, where I received my 300hr teaching certification. It is an honor to teach and share my passion for this yoga with all in the hot room!

I is a dedicated Bikram Yoga practitioner whose practice is rooted in gratitude, discipline, and transformation. I like to guide students through the 26-posture sequence, using the intensity of the practice to cultivate willpower—both physically and mentally.

For Me, Bikram Yoga is more than just a series of postures; it is a process of purification by fire. The heat not only detoxifies the body but also melts away resistance, revealing inner strength and mental clarity. My classes emphasize the art of stillness—finding peace in discomfort, embracing challenges, and harnessing breath, heat, and stillness as tools for transformation.

Through my teaching, I like to inspire students to cultivate patience, presence, and gratitude for every drop of sweat and every moment of growth. Whether you're stepping onto the mat for the first time or deepening an existing practice, my goal is to guide you on an inner journey of self-discovery—mentally, emotionally, and physically.

60-minute class has the same 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises as the Classic 90 minute class. The series has been abbreviated to meet the 60 minute time frame. The class moves at even pace. This class is great for those short on time or just need to get an extra class in for the week. Beginners are always welcome. It's never too late! Start anytime! Music is played on Fridays.
